Kenya Breweries Limited’s TuskerFest brought the house down in Meru with an exciting night of music and creativity on April 5th, 2023.
The event, which was held at Checkmate Lounge was headlined by the rap trio Wakadinali and also provided a platform to showcase some of Kenya's most exciting up-and-coming artists.
Tusker Fest is a celebration of Kenyan culture through music and food that provides a platform for emerging musicians and creatives to showcase their talent and connect with fans. The Meru event was the second edition of the Tusker Fest party circuit, following the successful first edition in Kisumu last weekend.
Attendees were treated to a night of non-stop entertainment, with Maandy and Runboy 254 delivering high-energy performances that had the crowd on their feet. Wakadinali, the headliners, closed out the night with an electrifying set that left the audience wanting more.
Gibbz Tha DaqChild kept the party going on the decks, while MC Emmah kept the vibes and energy flowing throughout the night.
"Tusker Fest is all about celebrating the rich musical talent and creativity that Kenya has to offer, and we were thrilled to bring the event to Meru," said Tusker Brand Manager, Catherine Twesigye. "The performances were incredible, and it was amazing to see how the crowd responded to the artists and the music."
Tusker Fest has become a major event on Kenya's social calendar this month of April, providing a platform for local musicians and creatives to showcase their talent and connect with their fans.
After the success of the Meru event, Tusker Fest will head to Eldoret, Nairobi, and Mombasa, providing more opportunities for Kenyan musicians and creatives to shine.
